Hurt

Hurt by S. L. Wyllie

You’re hurting him
like you hurt
everyone.
You’re a liar
and a loser
like you’ve always been.
You’re not fooling anyone
with your fake smiles,
and your
undeserved happiness.
All you do is wreck,
and ruin.
You’re a failure,
and a freak,
useless,
and worthless.
You don’t deserve his
kindness or affection.
His tender embrace,
or soft-spoken words.
You don’t deserve a
second chance at life
nevermind the first.
You’ll never amount to anything
beyond the garbage
you are now.
You don’t deserve
to smile or know peace,
to love,
to laugh, or
to live.
A world of darkness,
and shadows awaits.
So close your eyes,
but don’t forget the pain.
Hold your breath
as you carve out the ache.
Fill the emptiness
with what you deserve,
and cut out the hurt.
You’re less than nothing,
and less than dirt.
No one cares
about you.
No one will notice
that you’ve left.
So close your eyes,
but don’t forget the pain.
Hold your breath
as you carve out the ache,
Fill the emptiness
with what you deserve,
and cut out the hurt.
So close your eyes,
and hold your breath,
before taking the plunge to
your imminent death.
It’s what you deserve,
You can’t escape
the hurt.
