Good afternoon, Friends, family, and fans,
What is going on with the weather? Can someone answer this? One day, there’s insane amounts of ice falling from the sky, then, insane amounts of rain. My backyard is flooded, my basement is wet, and I have no desire to leave my house until Spring decides to arrive. NOT COOL.
I’m sorry for the lack of posts this week.
I’ve been using most of my free time to polish up on my reading and writing skills. I finally finished Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, you can find my review here: REVIEWS. Overall, I preferred the movie, but then again you could actually picture what Ernest Cline was describing instead of feeling like you’re lost in a sea of words.
And I’ve been crafting a few short stories just to keep the brain train going… Trying out little ideas, don’t be surprised if I email you to beta read some before I release them.
What else to say, it’s been a quiet week. I’m finding myself unmotivated and unable to sit still for more than a few minutes. It’s frustrating and I’m not sure why I’m so distracted lately. I feel like I’m getting caught in a routine of work sleep work sleep. I miss being able to just focus on writing… I need a good book that I can get lost in, or maybe I need to watch all the Harry Potter’s again… Or maybe I should re-read LOTR… Or maybe I’ll binge watch GOT…. Or maybe, just maybe… The weather needs to clear up so I CAN GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!
Not likely, we’re in Canada. And in Canada, the weather does, as the weather pleases. She will give us another month of winter if she wants. You East Coasters know EXACTLY what I’m talking about. Half of you are still shoveling your houses out in mid-May.
On to less depressing things,
I’ve added some cool books to my TBR list, ACOTAR is one of them, Graceling, Thoughtful, and I’m going to reread the Chronicles of Narnia; the Magician’s Nephew is my FAVORITE!
TTYL for now
